任海，国家体育总局体育科研所首席专家、奥林匹克研究中心执行主任，北京体育大学教授、博士生导师、中国体育科学学会理事会理事、体育社会科学学会副主任委员、国际比较体育学会执委。主编及作为主要作者完成的著作有《奥林匹克运动》(1993)、《奥林匹克研究》(1994)、《奥林匹克运动百科全书》(2000) 、《奥林匹克运动读本》(2005)及北京奥组委的中小学生奥林匹克读本等。

Ren Hai, Chief Expert of China Institute of Sport Science, Executive Director of Olympic Studies Center, Professor of Beijing Sport University, Member of the Executive Council of China Sports Science Society, Vice Chairman of the CSSS, Board Member of ISCPES. As the chief editor or the lead author, he has finished such books as Olympic Movement (1993), Olympic Studies (1994), Olympic Movement Encyclopedia (2000), Olympic Movement Reader (2005) and the series of Olympic readers for primary and secondary school students, which is conducted by the BOCOG.
